who’s gonna win the NFC North? Lions or Packers? #youdecide

We have reached it folks!! The regular season finale. We already got our usual suspects in the dance & some names we haven’t seen in a while. We also have 3 division titles to settle and a final wild card spot to hash out. Last week, we saw Johnny Football’s season end on a hammy, both the 49ers & Eagles blow their chances to get back in the playoff race, the Cowboys clinching the NFC East & Peyton showed his playoff form in Cincy on Monday. We pretty don’t have to say too much this week. Let’s break down these games

Cleveland vs Baltimore- For the Ravens, it’s plain & simple. They need to win & have the Chargers lose to clinch the final wild card spot. They blew an opportunity to control their own destiny w/ a road loss to the Texans. As for my Browns, road loss to the Panthers & Manziel got hurt. Hoyer sprained his shoulder & they tried to sign Rex Grossman, but he passed on the chance, which means Connor Shaw gets to start the finale. Another Spurrier guy. I know we are eliminateted, but i would like us to play spoiler to Modell’s squad. The Ravens are 9 pt home faves. I like my Browns to win to finish 8-8 & take the under.

Randy: Baltimore

Jacksonville vs Houston- Big game for the Texans. Their scenario is they need to win & have both the Ravens & Changers to lose to clinch the wild card. Their MVP JJ Watt has kept them in the postseason & they made Flacco’s life a living hell last week. For the Jags, they’re just looking to finish the season w/ momentum after defeating the Titans. They’ll get another high draft pick this yr. The Texans are 9.5 home faves. I like the Texans to win & take the under.

Randy: Houston

San Diego vs Kansas City- AFC West game w/ playoff complications. For the Chargers, it’s simple. Win & they are in. They had to comeback from 21 down on the road in San Fran to beat the Niners in ot. For the Chiefs, they need to win & have both Houston & Baltimore to lose to get in. It won’t be easy for them after hearing that Alex Smith suffered a lacerated spleen & is out for the game, meaning Chase Daniel gets the start. I remembered him from Hawaii & he can put up, but he’s put in a situation w/ his team postseason hopes in the air. The Chiefs are a fg home fave. I like the Charger to win & take the over.

Randy: Kansas City

NY Jets vs Miami- AFC East battle to close out things. The Dolphins are looking finish strong & over .500 w/ a win. They had a close win in overtime vs the Vikings on a safety. For the Jets, they just want the season to end & how will Rex go out since this looks like his last game as Jets’ coach. The Dolphins are 6 pt home faves. I like the Fins to win & cover.

Randy: Miami

Chicago vs Minnesota- NFC North battle here. The Viking are looking to finish strong & they have a bright future looking ahead. I wonder if Peterson’ gonna be on the squad next season. For the Bears, it’s been a disappointing season. From Cutler’s contract & his performance to injuries to their best players on offense (Brandon Marshall near the end) to defense (Charles Tillman, Lamarr Houston & Lance Briggs) & now to job security for their coaches whether it’s Trestman of their defensive coordinator. Changes look to be made in the off season. The Vikings are 6 pt home faves. I like the Vikes to win & cover.

Buffalo vs New England -AFC East battle here. The Pats have clinched home field throughout the playoffs, so they have nothing to play for & don’t be surprised if you see Belechik resting his players like in the 2nd qtr. For the Bills, they’re in the same position like the Dolphins. They’re looking to finish over .500 w/ a win & they’ll have 2 1st round picks in next yr draft ( their own & the Browns in the Sammy Watkins deal). The Pats are 5 pt home faves. I like the Pats to win & cover the spread

Randy: New England

Philadelphia vs NY Giants- NFC east battle. The Eagles blew an opportunity to win the division & make the postseason w/ their late December struggle. They let RG III of all people knock them out the postseason. I know they missed Nick Foles because they lost faith in Sanchez. For the Giants, they’re looking to finish strong & Beckham’s making a case for offensive rookie of the yr, It’s gonna be electrifying in MET LIFE Stadium. The Giants are fg home faves. I like the Eagles to sweep the head to head series & cover the spread.

Randy: NYG

New Orleans vs Tampa Bay- NFC South battle here. The Saints blew their opportunity to control their destiny to win the division w/ their home loss to the Falcons Like the Bears, it was a disappointing season for them. For Tampa, yr 1 of Lovie didn’t turned out like he wanted, but he might get the no.1 pick w/ another loss. Could it be Mariotta or Winston under center next yr?. The Saints are 4 pt road faves. I like the Saints to win & take the over.

Randy: New Orleans

Indianapolis vs Tennessee- The Colts have already clinched the division & probably will just finished 4th, so they have nothing to play for. For the Titans, they just want the season to end so they can worry about the draft & figure out if Locker will ever be the answer for them. The Colts are td road faves. I like the Colts to win & cover the spread.

Randy: Indy

Dallas vs Washington NFC East battle. The Cowoys have clinched the division & they could finish in either the no. 1 seed or 3rd seed after Sunday. They need help to at least clinch a 1st round bye. They’ll probably rest some players in my opinion. For the Skins, they just want the season to end & figure the quarterback situation out for next yr. The Cowboys can finish the season undefeated on the road. & are 5.5 road faves. I like the Cowboys to win & take the over (happy now Letty)

Randy: Dallas

Carolina vs Atlanta- The game to decide the NFC South title. It sucks that both teams were under .500. The Falcons looked like they were left for dead & Coach Smith’s job wasn’t safe. Now, they have a chance to make the postseason. For the Panthers, they had to go through Greg Hardy’s legal trouble & losing streaks, but they can be the 1st team in 10+ yrs to repeat as NFC south champs. The Falcons are 3.5 home faves. I know Matty Ice hardly loses at home, but I like Killa Cam to win & cover.

Randy: Atlanta

Oakland vs Denver- Peyton picked the wrong time to go into playoff mode last week. W/ that loss, it automatically gave the Pats home field throughout & now they are in a must win situation to clinch a 1st round bye. For the Raiders, coming off momentum from their win vs the Bills, they’re just looking to finish strong & carry it into next season. It’s a rivalry game, so expect a lot of had hitting. The Broncos are 14 pt home faves. I like the Broncos to win & cover.

Randy: Denver

Detroit vs Green Bay- NFC North battle & winner takes the division. The Lions won the 1st match-up in Detroit earlier this yr. Both teams are coming off wins & have already clinched playoff berths. The Lions won’t have the services of their center Dominic Raiola after he was suspended a game for stomping on Bears defensive tackle Ego Ferguson. Add to the fact the Lions haven’t won in Lambeau since 1991. Big time players need to make big time plays to win these games. The Packers are 7.5 home faves. I like the Packers to win since they are home & cover the spread

Randy: Green Bay

St Louis vs Seattle- NFC West battle. The Seahawks have found their Super Bowl swagger & are on a roll. W/ a win, they can clinch the division. However, a win & a Cowboys loss & Lions/Packers doesn’t end in a tie gives them home field throughout & I know no NFC teams doesn’t want to go through the 12th man in January. For the Rams, they just want a win to finish w/ a decent record. The Seahawks are 13 pt home faves. I like the Seahawks to win & take the under

Randy: Seattle

Arizona vs San Francisco- Another NFC West battle. The Cards, despite having 3 different starting qbs, have clinched a playoff berth. They could win the division w/ a win & a Seahawks los. For the 49ers, it’s Harbaugh’s swan song as it looks like he’s taking the Michigan job, It was a headache of a season for him & he was dealt w/ a bad hand when they never extended his contract. I wish him luck w/ the Wolverines, but they’re still not better than Ohio St & Michigan St. The 49ers are 6 pt home faves. I like the 49ers to send Harbaugh out w/ a bang w/the win & take the over.

Randy: Arizona

Cincinnati vs Pittsbugh- AFC North battle & the winner of this match-up takes the division. Both teams are on a roll w/ winning streaks & the Bengals defense had Manning rattled last Monday night. For the Steelers, they already won the 1st encounter in Cincy, so they know what it takes to beat this time. Both teams are in the postseason regardless, but either team rather be called division champs. Steelers are 3.5 home faves. I like the Steelers to win & cover.

Randy: Pittsburgh

Last week, yours truly took the no. 1 spot for the week w/ a 9-7 showing while Randy finished w/a 8-8 mark. In the overall standings, I have a slight lead w/ 158-86-1 while Randy has 156-88-1. It’s been a dog fight all yr & it looks like it could either way after Sunday. In the fantasy football league, it comes down to me & Mega 7981 for the crown. Good luck to both of us. Happy b-day shootouts to Jennifer Fernandez, my cousin Ryan Norman, Xochitl Huerta, Karen La Mere, my cousin Veronica Clarkson, Michelle Carlos, Megan Jimenez, A.C. Carter, Monica Silva aka Monitone, Michael Gil & Steven Morales aka DJ Swank. Make sure check out Happy Fun Time Sports w/ Kevin & Melissa where you can find those “Hood Picks” by the homie Alex “Campaign Life” Reyes & don’t’ forget to check out Screws U on ITunes w/ the homie Screws!!
