Is this the best catch ever? you decide!!

Strecth run time!! 4 more weeks left in the regular season til the postseason party begins & we have log jams for playoff positions regardless of wild card & divisions in each conference. Last week, we saw Mike Smith & the Falcons try their best not to give away a game to my Browns, TY Hilton touchdown celebration for his new born daughter, the Bears ruining Lovie’s return, nail-biting loss for the Rams in San Diego, Odell Beckham Jr. breaking the Internet w/ one of the best catches all year & the Saints blowing an opportunity to gain control of the NFC South. I wonder how the remaining weeks will play out!! Let’s preview these games starting w/ the 3 for thanksgiving day.

Thursday

Chicago vs Detroit- NFC North battle to start off the thanksgiving festivities!! The Lions are coming off a beatdown in New England & it was so bad that one of their lineman tried to take out Wilfolk because he thought Belechik was running up the score after they scored a late td. Stafford struggled & is 0-16 vs teams who were in the playoffs last yr. At least they’ll have Reggie Bush back this game. For the Bears, they ruined Lovie’s return to Soldier Field w/ a win & it’ s their 2nd win at home after losing the 1st 4 games there. It’s probably too late for them to make a push for the postseason. Lions are touchdown home faves. I like the Lions to win & take the under.

Randy:

Philadelphia vs Dallas- Round 1 of this NFC East battle & they are tied for 1st in the division. Both teams are coming off wins. The Eagles handled their business over the Titans at home while the Cowboys had to hold off the Giants in New York. Round 2 is 2 weeks later. It may be a high scoring game. The Cowboys are a fg home faves. I like the Eagles to win & cover the spread. I can’ t wait to see what the future Mrs. Sprague is going say bout this

Randy:

Seattle vs San Francisco- The main event for thanksgiving!! These teams do not like each other! It’s been the best rivalry in the last 2 years. Last time they faced each other, Richard Sherman made himself famous w/ Erin Andrews w/ his postgame interview. Both teams are coming off wins, the 49ers having to come back to defeat the Redskins while the Seahawks manhandled the Cards at home. Expect a low scoring game. It’s a pick’em game. I like the 49ers to handle their business at home. It’s huge for playoff & divisional aspirations.

Randy:

Sunday

Washington vs Indianapolis- The battle of the top 2 picks from the draft 3 year ago. Andrew Luck vs RG III. Both teams are going in opposite directions. The Colts are leading the AFC South & in the playoff position while Griffin’s struggling w/ the Redskins & it looks like his time may be up in DC. This would had been a great game couple yrs ago, but not now. The Colts are 9.5 home faves. I like the Colts to win & take the over.

Randy:

Tennessee vs Houston- AFC South battle here. The Texans have a slight chance for the postseason, but losses like last week to Cincy can bust their bubbles. To make things worse, Mallet tore a pectoral muscle & he’s done for the yr. For the Titans, another loss & today they released Shaun Phillips. It’s rebuilding time for them. The Texans are 6 pt home faves. I like the Texans & take the under.

Randy:

Cleveland vs Buffalo- Both teams are coming off wins. The Browns welcomed back Josh Gordon & he made an impact on the game last week along w/ Isaiah Crowell. Feed the Crow had a great game w/ over 100 yds rushng along w/ 2 tds. Terrance West chipped in w/ 63 yds. Hoyer, despite his 3 ints, found a way to lead the team 60 yds in under 55 seconds to get the fg win. For the Bills, they had to move their game to Detroit because of a massive snowstorm that mad it hard for teams to practice & move around. They smacked around the Jets last night. This game has interests in me for 2 reasons. 1st one is Sammy Watkins. I wanted the Browns to drafted him, but they traded down their pick to the Bills & they took him instead. Thinking of him one side & Gordon on the other excited me as a fan. 2nd reason is draft positioning. Both teams over .500, so it’s huge. The Bills are 2.5 home faves. I like my Browns by a fg.

Randy:

San Diego vs Baltimore- Both teams are coming off wins & the Ravens are in that logjam we call the AFC North. The Chargers had to hold off a late Rams rally to get the win while the Ravens punk the Saints in the dome. It was too much Justin Forsett & Steve Smith setting the tone. I wonder how Rivers could handle that Ravens pass rush. Both teams are in the playoff push, so it’s important for both teams to get a win. The Ravens are 5.5 home faves. For some reason, I like the Chargers to come out of B-More w/ a win & take the under.

Randy:

NY Giants vs Jacksonville- The Tom Coughlin Bowl. Coughlin returns to Jacksonville to face his former team. Both teams are coming off losses & postseason football is out the future for both teams. The Giants had a dog fight w/ the Cowboys, but Odell Beckham broke the ‘Net w/ the catch of the night, maybe of all-time. Watch out next yr when Victor Cruz returns. Eli will be stack w/ weapons for days. The Jags are rebuilding for the future here. The Giants are 2.5 road faves. I like the Giants to win & take the over.

Randy:

Cincinnati vs Tampa Bay- The Bengals are trying their to keep 3 teams off their ass for the AFC North title. They go into H-Town & defeated the Texans. It was Dalton’s 1st win over the Texans in Houston & his pops was in attendance to see it. The Bucs couldn’t get Lovie a win in his return to Chi-town. Remember, the Bucs on;y win this yr is vs an AFC North team. The Bengals better not take them lightly. The Bengals are 4 pt road faves. I like the Bengals to win & take the over.

Randy:

Oakland vs St Louis- A Southern California fan’s dream. The two teams that left in 1995 & are heavily rumored to return if football returns to Los Angeles face off this week. The Raiders finally got off the schide w/ their 1st win last week over the Chiefs. The Rams had a heartbreaking loss in San Diego.. In the area where I live, I’m going see a lot of silver & black or blue & yellow. Can the Raiders keep the momentum going after Thursday’s win? The Rams are a td home fave. I like the Rams to win & take the under.

Randy:

New Orleans vs Pittsburgh- The Saints are in a dogfight w/ the Falcons for 1st place in the WDE aka Worst Division Ever we call the NFC South. They had a 3 game homestand & lost all 3 games, including last night vs the Ravens. Sean Payton getting criticize for taking gambles early in the game & Drew Brees throwing pick 6’s in the wrong time. The Steelers are coming off a bye week, but made news by dumping LeGarrette Blount during that week. He wasn’t happy w/ his role after Levon Bell had his 200 yd game. Steelers in that log jam called the AFC North. You know they have to keep ground. The Steelers are 3.5 home faves. Saints can’t win out the dome. Take the Steelers to win & cover the points.

Randy:

Carolina vs Minnesota- The Vikings are coming off a tough home loss vs the Packers last week while the Panthers are coming off their bye week & to the surprise of many, still have a chance to repeat as NFC South champs since both the Falcons & Saints are under .500 just like them. It may come down to which qb (Cam Newton or Teddy Bridgewater) makes the less mistakes. Vikings are fg home faves. I like the Panthers to win & cover the points.

Randy:

Arizona vs Atlanta- Both teams are coming off losses, but lead their respective divisions. The Cards ran into a jigsaw called the Seahawks along w/ the 12th Man. They were expected to lose, but the Falcons gave away their game vs my Browns. They forced 3 Hoyer ints, but Mike Smith’s piss poor time management cost them that game. This game has a great match-up: Patrick Peterson vs either Roddy White or Julio Jones. Both are pro bowl caliber players. The Cards are 2.5 road faves. I like the Cards by a fg.

Randy:

New England vs Green Bay- The game of the week & some have called a Super Bowl preview. Both teams are coming hot w/ the Pats winning 7 straight, including last week over the Lions while the Packers have won 4 out their last 5 games. Both Brady & Rodgers are in the conversation for the MVP & the Pats’ defense have stepped their game up. If you have both qbs in your fantasy league, start them. It’s going be a good game. The Packers are a fg home fave. I like the Packers to win & cover. The reason I’m choosing the Packers because the game’s in Lambeau.

Randy:

Denver vs Kansas City- AFC West battle here. The Broncos had to survive a dogfight from the Dolphins while the Chiefs had an unexpected loss to the Raiders. Speaking of the Chiefs, prayers goes out to Eric Berry who’s season is done after finding out he has lymphoma in his chest. Both teams are in the playoff chase as well as the divisional title hunt. The Broncos are 2 pt road faves. I know the Chiefs will be emotionally riding high, but I like the Broncos to win & take the over.

Randy:

Monday

Miami vs NY Jets- No disrespect to the Dolphins, but why they have this game on Monday night. Only they have a respectable record while the Jets are a joke. It’s so bad that Vick gets hurt last night, meaning Geno finished the game & yet they’ll stick w/ Vick to finish the seaaon if healthy. Might as well play Simms’ kid. The Dolphins are 5.5 road faves. I like the Dolphins to win 7 take the over.

Randy:

Last week, your boy finished w/ the top spot w/ a 13-2 showing while Randy finished w/ a 12-3 showing. In the overall race, it’s a close battle w/ me having a 113-62-1 record while Randy has a 112-63- 1 spot. In the fantasy league, 3 game winning streak & fighting off 2 other guys for the 2nd spot while Mega 7981 is holding down the top spot, Happy b-day shoutouts to Nicole Falin, Monique Moreno, Rayleen Rios, my stepcousin Kevin Grayson, Claudia Esquivel, Magoo Fivesixtwo, Steve Ojeda, Jessica Lopez (see you on Saturday), Michelle Sabeva, Patrick Martinez, my favorite go-go dancer Briana Ortiz, Hazel Jimenez, Howard Moore, Erick torres, & last but not least, my mentors in this dj game Al “Plan B” Lopez & Danny “D-Side” Anderson. Since it was rivalry week for Southern California last week, it’s my rivalry week this week. Go Buckeyes & Roll Tide!!!
