that awkward moment when JJ Watt has more touchowns than Andre Johnson

We got 5 more weeks left in the season. Yes, we are heading into the homestretch & we got some of the usual suspects are gearing up for the playoff while we have some of the new booties feeling the pressure. We had a lot going on Tuesday w/ Adrian Peterson’s ruling w/ him being suspended for the rest of the season w/o pay, but he’s appealing it. We also had 2 running backs from AFC North squads (Ben Tate & Legarrette Blount) getting released. Last week, we saw JJ Watt put on a show in Cleveland, Eli Manning throwing 5 ints in a loss to the 49ers, the Rams holding the Broncos to 7 pts & won, the Packers putting up 50+ again this week, the Pats popping Indy in the mouth in their crib & Levon Bell rushing for over 200 yds last night. I wonder what we have for this stretch run. Let’s break down some games!!

Thursday

Kansas City vs Oakland- The AFC West starts off the week. The Chiefs are the hottest team heading into this game winning 5 straight games & are tied w/ the Broncos for 1st in the division. For the Raiders, still winless & haven’t won a game in a year. It could be like the Lions of 2008 when they went 0-16. It’s gonna be ugly in the Bay. The Chiefs are 7 pt road faves. I like the Chiefs to win & take the over.

Randy:

Sunday

Green Bay vs Minnesota- We have a NFC North match-up here!! The Packers have been putting Arena Football numbers up the last 2 weeks w/ 50+ outings on the Bears & Eagles!! Aaron Rodgers is playing like a MVP & no wonder Stephen A Smith calls him a “bad man”. For the Vikes, lost on the road in Chi-town & found out Peterson’s done for the yr, but he’s appealing, which means he maybe playing this week. Cross your fingers on that one. Packers are also in a tight race w/ the Lions for the NFC North. Remember, they play them the final game of the season in Lambeau. Packers are 9 pt road faves. I like the Packers to win & take the over.

Randy:

Tennessee vs Philadelphia- I guess the bad Mark Sanchez showed up for Philly in Green Bay last week. It was a cold day, high snaps resulting in turnovers & too much Rodgers for them. For the Titans, Mettenberger looked impressive for 3 qtrs, but the Steelers put on their big boy pants in the 4th qtr & took over. Now the Eagles & Cowboys are in a neck to neck battle for 1st in the NFC East & it’s a short week for them as they play on thanksgiving day. I hope it’s not a trap game for the Eagles. Philly’s a 11 pt home fave. I like the Eagles & take the under.

Randy:

Jacksonville vs Indianapolis- AFC South battle here. The Colts were just popped in the mouth at home by the Pats & I heard they weren’t interested in Ray Rice after learning they won’t have Bradshaw for a couple weeks. Good luck w/ Trent Richardson as your feature back. For the Jags, coming off their bye week, so they are rejuvenated to finish off the season strong w/ their rebuilding pieces. Colts better watch their backs now that the Texans are only a game back of them in the division & still have one more match-up w/ them, this time in Indy. Colts are 13.5 home faves. I like the Colts to win, but take the under because that point spread is too high.

Randy:

Detroit vs New England- Jonas Gray made a name for himself last week w/ his 4 td game along w/ 201 yds rushing. It took the pressure off Brady to dominated the game & Gronk made the Colts look silly on that td. For the Lions, tough loss on the road in Arizona & now they have 2 things to worry about 1) the Packers in the division & 2) they’re on a short week since they play on Thanksgiving. What Stafford is going show up in Foxborro? He’s 0-15 in big games. The Pats are touchdown home faves. I like the Pats to win & cover

Randy:

Cincinnati vs Houston- JJ Watt & them Texans put on a show vs my Browns last week. Alfred Blue did a hell of a job filling in for an injured Arian Foster & Ryan Mallett looked good for his 1st start. Now they are only a game back of Indy & if Clowney could give them some plays, look out. For the Bengals, they responded from that home loss to Cleveland by hushing up the Saints in the dome. BTW, that old man should be castrated after taking that ball away from the girl. I know she got a ball after, but Greshman was giving it to her, not you. Game’s in H-town & the Texans are a pt fave. I like the Texans by a fg.

Randy:

Cleveland vs Atlanta= For the 2nd time this yr, my Browns laid an egg the week after a big win. They were coming off a huge win in Cincy & they responded to be in 1st place in the AFC North by wetting the bed at home vs Houston. They couldn’t stop the run, 3-12 o 3rd down & losing bodies that game. They get Josh Gordon back this week, but lost Dansby for a couple weeks & Shared’s done for the season. The playoff chances look slim now. Might need a miracle. For the Falcons, got another win over a divisional rival, this time the Panthers & for the way they are playing, they are tied for 1st place in the NFC South w/ the Saints. Big game for both teams. The Falcons are 3 pt home faves. I like my Browns to win & cover the spread. #CLEVELANDVSEVERYBODY

Randy:

NY Jets vs Buffalo- Round 2 of this AFC East battle. The Bills won the 1st battle in Met Life Stadium. The Jets are coming off their bye week, but Vick was taking some scrutiny bout him saying the Jets would’ve been in a better situation had he started from the get go. For the Bills, they had a tough loss in South Beach vs the Dolphins. Sammy Watkins was held to 3 catches for 45 yds & the Dolphins defense was putting pressure on Orton. Big game for the Bills if they want some hope in the postseason. Bills are 4.5 home faves. I like the Bills to win & cover.

Randy:

Tampa Bay vs Chicago- Lovie returns to Chi-town!! That’s a big story here. The Bucs are coming off a big win over those Redskins in DC. Mike Evans is starting to be a big play receiver for them. For the Bears, they finally got a home win last week vs the Vikings. Cutler finally got his weapons (Forte, Marshall, & Jeffery) on the same page this week. I think the goal for the Bears is not to finish behind the Vikes in the division. The Bears are 5 pt hom faves. I like the Bears to win & ruin Lovie’s homecoming.

Randy:

Arizona vs Seattle- NFC West battle here. The Cards got an ugly win over Detroit at home last week. I wonder how they will manage w/ Stanton as their qb. It may have to come down to their defense to save them in this division. For the Seahawks, they are coming off a road loss in Kansas city & it looks like they are unraveling as we speak. How long is the countdown til Marshawn Lynch’s days are numbered in Seattle? The Cards won in Seattle last yr. The Seahawks are 6.5 home faves. It’s a short week for the Seahawks as they play on Thanksgiving as well. I like the Seahawks to win & take the under.

Randy:

St Louis vs San Diego- The Chargers snapped their 3 game losing streak w/ an ugly win over the Raiders at home last week. It was ugly because Rivers pulled up a lil lame in that game, but least they got Ryan Matthews back in the fold. The Rams are coming off one of their best defensive performances this season, holding an Broncos offense to only 7 pts & winning the game. The Rams may be 4-6, but some of those wins are been against some heavy hitters (Broncos, 49ers, & Seahawks). Road game, so expect some of the Rams fan from the O.C area to invade the 619. The Chargers are 4 pt home faves. I like the Chargers to win & cover the spread.

Randy:

Miami vs Denver- Great AFC Game right here. The Dolphins are coming off a great home win over the Bills last Thursday!! Tannerhill shook off that fumble he had in the 1st qtr & responded w/ a great 2nd half. The Broncos were held to 7 pts by a ferocious Rams defense & they were banged up by the fact that both Emmanuel Sanders & Julius Thomas got hurt in the same game. I think Thomas will be available this game, but Sanders is under that concussion test. The Rams used the same method the Seahawks did to them in the Super Bowl: rattle Peyton & he tightens up like a stripper on her 1st night. If the Dolphins do that & use that same method, it’s gonna be a long day for the Broncos. The Broncos are a td home fave. I like the Broncos to win & cover the spread.

Randy:

Washington vs San Francisco- The 49ers’ defense picked up the slack for an struggling offense by forcing 5 ints on Eli Manning & getting the win over the Giants. Question we want to know: why did Ahmad Brooks bench himself in the 2nd half? Chris Borland is picking up the slack for Patrick willis not being in the line-up & it looks like Navor Bowman will make his debut this week. For the Redskins, embarrassing home loss to the Bucs & you got RGIII & coach Gruden throwing shots at one another. Even Desean Jackson is in the pity party w/ one of his shots on Instagram. I guess he misses being in Philly. It’s a short week for the Niners, so they better not make this a trap game for them. The 49ers are 9 pt home faves. I like the 49ers & take the under.

Randy:

Dallas vs NY Giants- Round 2 of this NFC East battle. The Cowboys won the 1st battle in Jerry’s house & are coming off their bye week. The Giants are coming off a home loss to the 49ers. The defense played their hearts out, but 5 ints by Eli killed them. It sucks that NY football ends before x-mas for the 2nd yr in a row. Cowboys are on a short week as well, so don’t make this a trap game. The Cowboys are fg road faves. I like the Cowboys by a td. To Alex & Jessica Reyes, have fun at the game & to Leticia Robinson, welcome back from your week’s hiatus from Facebook.

Randy:

Monday

Baltimore vs New Orleans- We have an interconference battle here to end the week. The Saints are on a 3 game homestand & already lost 2 straight. The Cincy game was ugly & your fans can’t even show hospitality for the visiting fans. I hope someone puts a voodoo curse on that guy who didn’t want to give that ball to those Bengals fan. The Ravens are coming off a bye week & it’s still a dog fight in the AFC North. The Saints are a fg home fave. I like the Ravens to make it 3 straight home losses for the Saints, who are in a dogfight w/ the Falcons for the NFC South title.

Randy:

Last week, yours truly had the top spot this week despite having a 6-8 showing while Randy finished up w/ a 5-9 record. Overall, we have an identical record of 100-60-1. It’s going come down to the finish for that overall title. In the fantasy football league. I’m on a 3 game winning streak & the no 2 spot behind Mega 7981. 3 more weeks til our playoffs start. It’s gonna be a crazy weekend w/ Pacaquio fighting & the rivalry game between UCLA & USC. I like the Bruins to 3 peat on them Trojans & Pacman to put a great performance so Mayweather has no choice but to fight him. Happy b-day shoutouts to Jeannette Brito, Jennifer O’Neil (great to see you last Saturday), Sirena Siren aka Robin Rodriguez, Andy Rodriguez, Arlene Salazar (have fun on Saturday), Jose Pastora III aka Memo, Amanda Apodoca, Michelle Morales, & last but not least, my ‘other sis” Dez Claiborne (love ya). Catch ya’ll on the next blog. Peace!!!
