What’s going on w/ Brady & the Pats? #lookingshaky

What an amazing week 4 we had last week. We saw Eli looking like the elite quarterback that won super bowl, but was overshadowed on the same night as Derek Jeter’s final game in the Bronx, Steve Smith treating the Ravens like his bitch, Aaron Rodgers & the Packers giving their fans a reason to relax after smacking their rivals in the mouth, the Raiders getting shellacked so bad in London that it cost their coach his job, the Bucs getting their 1st win in the season over the season, the 49ers holding the Eagles to 0 offensive tds, win the game & yet hearing reports bout the players wanting Harbaugh gone, Saints still can’t win when they’re not at the Superdome & the Chiefs smacking Brady & the Chiefs in the mouth. Other than finding out that Dwyer being charged for his domestic violence arrest, we laid off this week of off the field issues. Before we break down week 5, I would to thank everyone for the b-day wishes & turning it up over the weekend. I would also like to tip my hat to the Captain #2 Derek Jeter. 20 yrs in the game, picked up the class act when Cal Ripken Jr. retired, 5 rings & never got ejected. The final game in the Bronx was the perfect storybook ending. For that, I would like to say “Thank You” & enjoy your retirement. Let’s talk some games.

Minnesota vs Green Bay- Another NFC North battle here. A week after telling the fans to relax after losing to the Lions, Aaron Rodgers exploded on the Bears w/ 4 td passes & they came out w/ a win. They also made it rough for Cutler as his 2 ints showed. For the Vikings, Teddy Bridgewater didn’t disappoint in his 1st start. He carved up the Falcons defense despite getting hurt & got the win. Both teams are at 2-2 & would had been a great game if Peterson’s legal issues didn’t get in the way. Under the lights. I wonder if Bridgewater can handle it. It’s not Louisville anymore. The Packers are 9 pt home faves. It’s Lambeau Field, so of course I gotta roll w/ the Pack. However, take the under. 9 pts is too high.

Randy: Green Bay

Chicago vs Carolina- Both teams are coming off losses. The Bears just got popped in the mouth at home by the Packers & bad Jay Cutler showed up at the wrong time while the Panthers were embarrassed by the Ravens & Steve Smith said he was the grown man & he had the secondary running around like lil’ kids. Something has to give this weekend. Interesting storyline is that “Riverboat” Ron Rivera gets to coach the team he played for & got a ring with. I wonder if Greg Hardy will ever get charged w/ his domestic violence case. The Panthers are 2.5 home faves. I like the Panthers by a fg.

Randy: Carolina

Cleveland vs Tennessee- My Browns are coming off a bye week & I heard Ben Tate has starting practicing w/ the team. Advice to him, take your time. Crowell & West have filled in nicely for you during your absence. For the Titans, coming off another loss & Locklear didn’t start that game. Can he ever catch a break? Titans are 1.5 home faves. I like my Browns by a td. I hope they got their defense in order over the bye week.

Randy: Tennessee

St Louis vs Philadelphia- The Eagles suffered their 1st loss last week. It was weird watch them being held w/o an offensive td after scoring on a block punt, pick 6 & punt return. Another thing was Foles was taking a beating & Leseasn McCoy struggling for the 2nd week in a row. For the Rams, coming off the bye week & hoping to forget bout that 21 pt lead they blew vs the Cowboys. Eagles are a td home faves. I like the Eagles to win & cover.

Randy: Philly

Atlanta vs N.Y. Giants- Eli & the Giants had the NFC East take notice that they weren’t dead yet. Exploding for 45 pts & forcing 4 ints on Kirk Cousins was the winning ingredient in their win along w/ Eli’s 5 tds (1 rushing) & 3 of those tds to the tight end. The Falcons were in a shootut w/ the Vikings in Minnesota last week & lost. The defense blew up in their face. If Bridgewater can explode on that d, I wonder what Eli would do. G-Man are 4 pt home faves. I like the Giants to win & cover.

Randy: NYG

Tampa Bay vs New Orleans- What a comeback win by rhe Bucs in Pitttsburgh last week. Mike Glenon, who was a Schiano guy, started in the place of Josh McCown, led a great drive down the stretch & props to Louis Murphy, who was signed that week for making huge catches down the stretch along w/ Vincent Jackson. For the Saints, I can’t believe that they’re 1-3 & the Cowboys just embarrassed them like that in Jerry’s house last week. At least they are back at home this week. Saints are 10 pt home faves. I take the Saints & the over.

Randy: New Orleans

Houston vs Dallas – The Cowboys are on a roll after losing that 1st game vs the Niners. They have found ways to win games & the defense, which was talked bout as being the weak link, has stepped up. Demarco Murrary, despite having the fumbling problems, still have those 100 yd games. They get to host their in-state rivals the Texans. The Texans are coming off a close win at home vs the Bills & JJ Watt made the play of the game w/ that pick 6 on EJ Manuel. He has already 2 tds this season. Probably more than your favorite player. Battle of Texas here. Cowboys are 6 pt home faves. I like the Texans to steal this game in Jerry’s house (yeah I said it Letty).

Randy: Dallas

Buffalo vs Detroit- The Lions won an ugly game in N.Y. over the Jets & Calvin Johnson only had 2 catches. He was fighting an akle injury. For the Bills, close loss vs the Texans, but made news by benching EJ Manuel & having Kyle Orton starting this week. I understand he has the lowest QBR rating, but he hasn’t had a full chance in his two yrs because he was injured during his tenure. Don’t worry EJ, you’ll get your job back in 2 weeks I can see Orton doing worst. The Lions are a td home fave. I like the Lions to win & cover.

Randy: Detroit

Baltimore vs Indianapolis- Both teams are coming off wins. The Colts are coming off destroying the Titans at home & Andrew Luck had another 4 td game. For the Ravens, they are coming off beating the breaks off the Panthers & Steve Smith made a statement over his former team. Both teams are contenders in their respective divisions, so this is a big game for both teams. Indy is a 3.5 home fave. I like the Colts by a slight over since my distaste for the Ravens.

Randy: Indy

Pittsburgh vs Jacksonville- The Steelers wished that last second loss never happenend. How you let a winless team come into your house & keep it close until the last 1:45? That’s like a Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde effect. One minute, you’re dominating the Panthers on the road, the next you’re playing down to your competition. For the Jags, another loss, but building blocks for Bortles. It’s growing pains for him. The Steelers are 7 pt road faves. Take the Steelers & the over.

Randy: Pittsburgh

Arizona vs Denver- Both teams are coming off their bye weeks. However, the Cards are still undefeated, but what a game they have to face off their bye week & it’s on the road. Will it be Shelton or Palmer starting for the Cards this week? We know that Dwyer won’t be there since he made a fool out of himself. It will be a test for them. We know what to expect from Peyton & the crew. Broncos are a td home fave. I like the Broncos to win & cover.

Randy: Denver

Kansas City vs San Francisco – It’s a homecoming for Alex Smith this week as he returns to San Francisco to face his former team. Both teams are coming off big time wins. The 49ers needed that win over the Eagles because it could had been panic time had they lost. What’s up w/ Deion & Dilfer talking bout players already wanting Harbaugh gone? It’s 5 weeks & you don’t need that distraction to your team. It’s already bad w/ no Aldon Smith for like 5 more games & Bowman won’t be back til November. Don’t get me started w/ the Ray McDonald situation & he’s still hasn’t been charged yet. For the Cheifs, who would thought that they would score 45 on the Pats on Monday!! Jamal Charles, who was fighting injuries the last 2 weeks, made fantasy owners remember why they drafted him w/ his 3 td performance & it helped that Nil Davis helped him out as well, shouldering the load. I wonder what kind of reception will Smith get. I hope he doesn’t get booed. It’s going be a close game in my opinion. 49ers are 6 pt home faves. I like the Niners to win by a fg.

Randy: San Francisco

N.Y. Jets vs San Diego- The Chargers are still rolling & Phillip Rivers is hot. They spanked the Jags at home last week. For the Jets, home loss vs the Lions & the fans are already turning on Geno. He let his frustations show by dropping a f bomb on a fan. Keep your composure young blood. Chargers are 6 pt home fave. I like the Bolts to win & cover.

Randy: San Diego

Cincinnati vs New England- The Bengals are coming off their bye week, however the way the Pats played on Monday, it felt like it was their bye week. Already, you got questions like “What’s wrong w/Brady?” I already dropped him on my fantasy team. Had to. Also, ex Pats are wondering what’s wrong w/ this team. Night game, at home & it’s on NBC. They better get their act together. The Bengals are 1 pt road faves. I like the Bengals to win by a td.

Randy: Cincy

Seattle vs Washington – The Champs are coming off the bye week while the Skins are coming off an ugly home loss to the Giants. What happened to Kirk Cousins? 4 ints & it looked ugly. It was like RG III was going to save the day. He didn’t have to look over his shoulder. Who would be scared of Colt McCoy? Interesting fact: last time these two teams met in DC, it was the divisional round 2 yrs ago & RGIII tore his ACL. Shanahan was ridiculed for keeping him in longer for that. Seahawks are 7.5 road faves. I like the champs by a td.

Randy: Seattle
