Don’t look now, but look’s who caught the league’s attention #Pantherspower

We are only 6 more weeks away from the season ending & some of these divisions are tightening up. We have surprises at the top & some teams that no one would had even thought that would part of the playoff chase. Last week, we saw the Rams go into Indy & destroy the Colts, the Bears probably 2nd guessing themselves by playing Cutler while he still looked injured, the Saints getting 40 1st downs on the Cowboys, the Panthers going into Candlestick & defeating the 49ers & both winless teams (0-8 Tampa Bay & Jacksonville) finally getting their 1st wins of the season. I wonder what we have in store for week 11. We have to find out starting on Thursday. Let’s go NFL people.

Thursday

Indianapolis vs Tennessee- It’s an AFC South battle. Both teams are coming off losses. The Colts still lead the division, but they haven’t looked good the last 2 games. I know they had to come back & defeat Houston, but last week, they let a Rams team come in & score 38 pts. Tavon Austin picked the right time to have his breakout game. For the Titans, not only did they lose to the Jags, but they lost Jake Locklear for the yr on a non contact injury while he was handling off the ball.  Ryan Fitzpatrick’s their guy for now on & they may be falling out on Locklear since he’s injury prone. The Colts are fg road faves. It’s a toughy here, but I like the Colts to win & cover. When’s Trent Richardson going have his breakout game in 2013?

Sunday

N.Y. Jets vs Buffalo- Pt.2 of Geno Smith vs E.J. Manuel. The Jets won the 1st match-up in Metlife Stadium. The Jets are coming off their bye week while the Bills are coming off their loss to the Steelers in Manuel’s return game. He looked rusty, but who doesn’t when they come off from an injury. Both teams still in the hunt for the AFC East, so it’s important for both teams. The Bills are a pt home fave. Can the Jets win 2 in a row? They are inconsistent. Win one week, lose the next week. I believe this the week that trend stops. I like the Jets to win & cover.

Atlanta vs Tampa Bay- The Bucs finally got some momentum going after winning their 1st game of the yr on Monday. They couldn’t lose on the night Warren Sapp was getting inducted in their Ring of Honor. The Falcons are on that downside & it got worse w/ that beatdown they received at home vs the Seahawks. Can you say the Falcons are on the clock? The Falcons are a pt road fave.  I like the Dirty Birds by a td.

Detroit vs Pittsburgh- The Lions are coming off sweeping the Bears in the head to head match-up w/ their win in Soldier Field. With that win, they took over 1st place in the NFC North & now they have to enter into Heinz Field where they’re facing a Steelers’ team who are coming off their win over the Bills. Funny part is that Ben Roethesberger was answering questions about rumors of himself asking to be traded. The losing must had gotten to him & winning cures everything. The Lions are a pt road fave. I like the Lions by a td. Too many weapons to stop the Lions offense.

Washington vs Philadelphia- 3 weeks ago, the local Eagles  fans & national media were chastising Chip Kelly, wondering where was the offense. 2 weeks later, they’re still in the hunt for the NFC East after their 2nd week in a row. This time, it was vs a Packers team, who was still reeling from the loss of Aaron Rodgers in their last game. Nick Foles has 6tds passes, more than Vick, however he hasn’t won a home game yet. Matter of fact, the Eagles haven’t won at the Linc all yr. For the Redskins,  they’re coming off the loss on Thursday to the Vikings. They were leading the game & Griffin was playing his best game this yr. He made a critical mistake on their final drive. The  Eagles already won the 1st mtch-up in week 1 & that was RG III’s return game. The Eagles are fg home faves in this one. I like the Eagles to win by a td (enjoy the game Toine)

Arizona vs Jacksonville- The Jags avoided futility by winning their 1st game of the season last week.  The Cards won a close home contest vs the Texans. The Cards are a surprising 5-4 team in the NFC West division, easily the best division in the NFL. Could the Jags carry the momentum & give the home fans a win? The Cards are 6.5 road faves. If Palmer can cutdown on the turnovers & Fitzgerald goes H.A.M, long day for the Jags. I like the Cards by 10.

Oakland vs Houston- The Radiers are coming off a tough loss vs the Giants last game. Darren McFadden’s injury could be Rashad Jennings’ blessing in disguise. It sucks that McFadden can’t even stay healthy in his contract yr. For the Texans, another loss, this time to the Cards & it’s gotten so bad that they released Ed Redd after he spoke the truth bout his team’s performance & his demotion. Not looking good in H-Town. The Texans are a td home fave. I like the Texans to win & cover. Keenum could put a better performance than Pryor. BTW, nice of you Pryor to put your Rose Bowl ring on EBay.

Baltimore vs Chicago- The Ravens survived a wild game vs the Bengals. In that game, they had to shake off a hail mary pass to AJ Green to send the game in ot & Marvin Lewis’ decision to go for it on 4th & 2.to win in ot. The Bears are coming off a home loss to the Lions & probably should had stuck to their guns & not start Cutler. Hell, he didn’t finish the game. It’s gonna be a defensive battle. The Bears are 2.5 home faves. I like the Bears by a fg. Besides, it’s cold weather season in effect.

Cleveland vs Cincinnati- My Browns are coming off the bye week & looking to start a push for the AFC North title. They are still in the race w/ a 4-5 record. The Bengals aren’t looking good after losing their 2nd  straight game in ot, this time to the Ravens. The Bengals were in the conversation to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl, but you don’t know which team would show. Battle of Ohio pt.2. The Browns won the 1st match-up in Cleveland. The Bengals are 5.5 home faves. I like my Browns by 2.

San Diego vs Miami- Both teams are coming off losses. The Chargers got Broncos fan scared when they hit Manning low in their loss last week while the Dolphins had to block out all the distractions regarding Martin & Incognito & it surely did affect them in their loss. Both teams are 4-5, so this game is important to both squads. The Chargers are a pt road fave. I like the Chargers to win by a fg. I like Rivers over Tanehill in this match-up. P.S. to the Dolphins, try to get more than 2 yds rushing total as a team.

Green Bay vs  N.Y. Giants- The G-Man are coming off their bye week & at 3-6, they’re still in the hunt for the NFC East title. Who wants this division we want to know. For the Packers, coming off their home loss vs the Packers & Seneca Wallace couldn’t finish the game. It got to the point they had to bring back Matt Flynn week after he was released by the Bills. It’s going be a tough stretch for them til Rodgers returns. The Giants are 6 pt home faves. I like the Giants to win & cover.

Randy:

Minnesota vs Seattle- Both teams are coming off wins. The Vikings got their 1st home win & they did it w/ Pounder getting hurt. Who’s gonna start this week between Cassel & Freeman. For the Seahawks, they demolished the Falcons & will have a returning weapon as Percy Harvin will make his 2013 debut this game. It’ll be a sight to Russell Wilson’s eyes. The Seahawks are 13 pt home faves. It’s the 12th man & they’re gonna make a lot of noise. I like the Seahawks  to win & cover.

Randy:

San Francisco vs New Orleans- The 49ers will want to shake off that home loss to the Panthers. They need to get more than 62 yds passing & do much better than 2 for 13 on 3rd down. The Saints fully dominated the Cowboys in their win last week. 40 1st downs & Drew Bree was 8 yds away from 400 yds passing on them Both teams are in the hunt for the postseason. The Saints are a fg home fave. I like the 49ers by a td.

Kansas City vs Denver- The game of the night. The top 2 teams in the AFC West. The Chiefs are coming off their bye week, but got a minor distraction w/ Dwayne Bowe getting arrested for possession of marijuana. The Broncos got a lil scare in their win over the Chargers when Peyton Manning got hit low. Fortunately, it was a high ankle sprain & he says he’s gonna play. Round 1 in Invesco & round 2’s in 2 weeks in Kansas City. The Broncos are 7.5 home faves. I like the Chiefs to get the road win. If Manning’s ankle affects him & that defense rattles him, look out.

Monday

New England vs Carolina- The Panthers has gotten the league’s attention after their win in San Francisco last week. Their defense went toe to toe w/ the 49ers defense & it was like a heavyweight fight. The Pats are coming off the bye week. They still lead the AFC East, but they have the Jets breathing down their necks. Can that Panthers  defense slow down Tom Brady & the Pats’ offense? The Panthers are 2.5 home faves. Don’t expect a high scoring game. I like the Panthers to win & cover.

Last week, I was the lead dawg w/ a 8-6 record while Randy was in 2nd  w/ 7-7 while Noez rounded it out w/ 5-8. In the overall record for Mega 7981’s bonus, Randy still leads w/ 95-52 while I’m in 2nd w/ 90-57 while Noez has 86-59.
