Megatron enjoying this bye week (329 yds) #dezwho

We got almost 2 months to go in the season & it has a full of surprises. The main one is the fact the Kansas City Chiefs are still only the last remaining undefeated team left. From starting 0-4 last yr to this hot start w/ new coach Andy Reid & new quarterback Alex Smith, they are getting everyone’s attention. Last week’s action saw the Chiefs winning, the Lions driving 80 yards in a minute w/ no timeouts to defeat the Cowboys & Dez Bryant’s tantrum was the major topic of the game. Oh yeah, don’t get me started on Brandon Merriweather talking bout “I’m tearing ACL’s”. Goodell should just suspend him for the rest of the year for that comment. Let’s see what this week has for us.

Cincinnati vs Miami- The Bengals are riding high after that beatdown on the Jets. We found out about Marvin Jones after that 4 td catch performance & the defense got 2 pick 6’s off Geno Smith. For the Dolphins, they played the Pats tough in the 1st half, then the 2nd half happened. Oh yeah, Mike Pouncey getting subpoena by Massachusetts’ grand jury regarding Aaron Hernandez & gun trafficking doesn’t look good either. It’s under the lights & I know South Beach’s gonna be rocking. The Bengals are 2.5 road faves. I like the Bengals to win, but I hope they treat this as a business trip & not a vacation.

Randy: Cincy

Atlanta vs Carolina- The Falcons are the biggest shockers to me.  Losing to the Cards got them at 2-5 and I thought Tony Gonzalez was gonna get traded before the trading deadline. He’s still there, but I know it’s hurting him losing after delaying his retirement to get one more crack at a super bowl ring. The Panthers are 4-3 & they looked good last Thursday vs the Bucs. Cam Newton’s starting to look like the version of himself when he won offensive rookie of the yr & the defense is playing lights out. A divisional battle, so expect hard nose hitting. The Panthers are 9 pt home faves. I like the Panthers to win, but not to cover.

Randy: Carolina

Minnesota vs Dallas- Both teams are coming off losses. The Cowboys not only lost a heartbreaker loss in Detroit, but had to answer all the questions bout Dez Bryant’s tantrum on the sidelines. He was unapolegitc, saying that’s his passion coming out. I under emotion, but you don’t show up your teammates while the cameras rolling. The Vikings were just punked at home vs the Packers & they probably wondering who’s gonna start at quarterback for this game.  Cowboys are 11 pt home faves. I like the Boys to win this game (happy now Letty)

Randy: Dallas

New Orleans vs N.Y. Jets- The Saints hope they can continue that high powered offensive performance they had vs the Bills. Drew Brees w/ 5 td passes, 2 of them went to Jimmy Graham, who was playing on one freaking leg. The Jets were just manhandled by the Bengals & Geno Smith showed why he’s a rookie w/ his inconsistent play w/ his 2 pick 6’s. It’s a home game for the Jets, so let’s hope the weather slow down the Saints. The Saints are 5.5 road faves. I see the Saiints winning big & the boo birds raining down on the Jets.

Randy: New Orleans

Tennessee vs St Louis- The Rams played the Seahawks tough & had opportunities to win that game, but loss. They had bright spots w/ the defense making Russell Wilson eat dirt from the sacks & Stacy’s running. The Titans are coming off their bye week, but had an emotional week w/ the lose of their owner Bud Adams. I know Jeff Fisher has some nice things to say bout Adams since he use to coach the Titans. Titans are 2.5 road faves. I like the Titans by a fg.

Randy: Tennessee

Kansas City vs Buffalo- The Chiefs are still undefeated. They dominated my Browns in the 1st half w/ their time of possession & the defense held on late to secure their win. Alex Smith & Andy Reid has turn that culture around there. For the Bills, it’s like a roller coaster ride. One week, Thad Lewis leads them to a game winning drive, the next he’s having a poor game in New Orleans. The Chiefs are a fg road fave. I like the Chiefs to win & cover.

Randy: Kansas City

San Diego vs Washington- The Chargers are coming off their bye week while the Redskins will have some explaining to do. 1st, they had a 21-7 lead during the 3rd qtr, they were feeling good. Then, they give up 38 pts to the Broncos in the 2nd half. RG III throws 3 ints, hurts his knee & Cousins doesn’t do any better. At least they can say this is the final game of Merriweather’s suspension as he returns next game. The Chargers are a pt road fave. I like the Chargers to win this game.

Randy: San Diego

Philadelphia vs Oakland – What’s happening w/ the Eagles lately? They haven’t scored an offensive td in 2 games. They lost last week to the Giants & Vick pulled a hammy for the 2nd time vs the same team. Matt Barkely had to come in & he’s showing why his draft stock dropped last yr. Who’s gonna start this game between him & Nick Foles, who’s returning from a concussion injury.? For the Raiders, they defeated the Steelers at home for the 3rd time & I’m starting to ease up on my hate for Pryor ever since he was the reason Tressel losing his job at Ohio St. The Black Hole is making it hard for opposing teams this yr. The Raiders are a pt home fave. I like the Raiders to win this game because the Eagles offense has been on a milk carton lately.

Randy: Philly

Tampa Bay vs Seattle- Seahawks barely escaped St. Louis w/ a win & lost Sidney Rice for the rest of the yr due to an ACL injury.  I guess Percy Harvin’s return will very much needed. That offensive line couldn’t keep Chris Long & Robert Quinn off Russell Wilson & they might be a problem. For the Bucs, another loss & I’m wondering who’s gonna win 1st between them & the Jaguars. Also, I don’t know why Greg Schiano still has his job. The Seahawks are 18 pt home faves. I like the Seahawks to win & go over the spread. It’s a home game for them.

Randy: Seattle

Baltimore vs Cleveland- The Ravens are coming off the bye week while my Browns are coming off a tough loss in Kansas City. Digging themselves a hole in the 1st half, penalties, & dropped passes (yeah, I’m talking to you Devonne Bess) hurt them. Also, losing Travis Benjamin hurts. At least Josh Gordon wasn’t traded & Jason Campbell looked good & he’s gonna start this game. Us Browns fan know that Weeden’s the problem, but Banner & Lombardi don’t know it & wouldn’t trade him or even release him. The Ravens are 2.5 road faves. I like our team’s chances this game.

Randy: Cleveland

Pittsburgh vs New England- The Steelers are coming off a road loss in Oakland. Ben Roethesberger had trouble shaking that Raiders defense & he was sacked 5 times by them. The Pats woke up in the 2nd half after trailing Miami in the 1st to win their game.  What Patroits team are we gonna see week from week & can Tom Brady be that guy that can tear a heart out of a team because he’s starting to show a lil decline this season? The Pats are 7.5 home faves. I hate both teams , but hate the Wack & Yellow even more. I’ll take the Pats to win & cover.

Randy: New England

Indianapolis vs Houston-  The Colts are coming off the bye week & this will be their 1st game w/o Reggie Wayne after he tore his ACL in their win over the Broncos. The Texans  are coming off the bye week as well & Case Keenum gets another start. I guess they were tired of Matt Schaub’s pick 6’s. It’s a divisional battle, so hard hitting will be in effect. The Colts are a pt road fave. I still like the Colts to win, but life w/o Wayne’s gonna be tough & Trent Richardson’s time to step up is NOW!!

Randy: Indianapolis

Chcago vs Green Bay- The league’s oldest rivalry concludes week 9. The Packers are coming off a victory over the Vikings & they look very impressive. The Bears are coming off the bye week & this will be the 1st game for them since finding out both Briggs & Cutler will miss like 6 weeks of action cuz  of injury, even though Trestman thinks Cutler will be back sooner than expected. Throw the records out the window when these teams play. I’m a Midwest boy & I respect this rivalry. The Packers are 11 pt home faves. I like the Packers to win, but take the under.

Randy: Green Bay

Last week, Noez was the lead dawg for the 4th week in a row. Even w/o sending his pick for the Thursday night game, he finished w/ a 12-0 record. Randy came in 2nd w/ a 11-2 record while I rounded out w/ 10-3. For the overall standings for Mega’s bonus, Randy’s at 79-41, yours truly in 2nd w/ 74-46 while Noez rounds out w/ 74-45.  Happy b-day shoutouts to Laina Gomez,  my cousin Mark Matthews, Mohammed Ssebi, my girl Cindy Ordonez aka Sinful,  Elisha Peralto, Kiki Perez,  Joseph Lara, Miguel Galvez, & Kris Delgado- Guerrero aka mama Krissy. Shoutouts also to the Lakers, who shocked everyone by defeating the Clippers on opening night w/o Kobe & a deep bench (76 pts) lead by Xavier Henry. What up Screws (bring back Screws U) &  I’M GLAD THE NBA’S  BACK!! Catch y’all on the next blog. Peace
