Andrew Luck makes his MNF debut this week #expectsomemagic

So far this season, we have a bunch of a surprises like my 3-2 Cleveland Browns & 3-2 new york jets.  Other surprises are the 0-5 new york Giants & 0-4 Pittsburgh Steelers, who return this week after their bye week. In week 5, we saw both E.J. manuel & Brian Hoyer both get injured in the Thursday night game, m brady’s consective game w/ a td pass snapped at 52, the Cowboys & Broncos having the game of the year , Matt Schaub w/ a pick 6 for the 4th straight game, & Geno Smith w/ his 3rd game winning drive this yr. I wonder what excitement we have for week 6. Before I start, major props to the Los Angeles dodgers, the 1st team to advance to the LCS in the MLB postseason. Let’s do it for Magic aka the lord of the rings.

Thursday

N.Y. Giants vs Chicago- Both teams are coming off losses, however the Giants are struggling at 0-5 & they already talking bout benching Peyton Manning. For the Bears, their offense put up numbers versus the Saints, bur the defense couldn’t stop Drew Brees & we already got Brandon Marshall going into diva mode, complaining about his role in the offense. The Short week always affect both teams. The Bears are 7.5 home faves.  I like the Bears to hold down Soldier Field & get the win.

Sunday

Green Bay vs Baltimore- Both teams are coming off wins. The Packers returned from their bye week to defeat the Lions & Eddie Lacy played his best game as a pro w/ 99 yds rushing. The Ravens had to claw & scratch a win in South Beach over the Dolphins. They also remembered that Ray Rice is their running back & whenever he’s not involved in the offense, they usually lose. A great game on paper. The Packers are 2.5 road faves. I like the Packers because I trust Aaron Rodgers more than Joe Flacco.

Cincinnati vs Buffalo- The Bills not only lost Thursday night to the Browns, but will have to go at least a month w/out E.J. Manuel as he suffered a knee injury that game. The Bills will have Thad Lewis, who was on the practice squad a week ago start this game since they  wasn’t happy w/ Jeff Tuel’s performance in relief. For the Bengals, their defense & a little mother nature saved them in their win over the Pats.  Advice to Andy Dalton: look for A.J. Green more. He’s on my fantasy team & has back to back poor games thanks to you. The Bengals are 8.5 road faves.  I like the Bengals to circle the wagons on the Bills.

Detroit vs Cleveland- For my Browns, we got 37 pts & the win over the Bills on Jim Brown night, but lost Brian Hoyer for the  yr when he tore his ACL, meaning they are back w/ Brandon Weeden as their starting qb & didn’t take a whiff to sign Josh Freeman (another “Fuck the front office” vent from me). We’re 3-2, have something going & all they can think is building through the draft. The Lions were popped in the mouth by the Packers & they hardly ever win at Lambeau Field.  It would been close if Calvin Johnson wasn’t a late game scratch & that pissed me off since I woke up late & couldn’t replace him in f.f. It’s gonna be a defensive battle. I wonder if Jason Campbell may get some time if N’Damukong Suh do something dirty to Weeden. The Lions are 2.5 road favs.  I like my Browns to win a close one at home.

St. Louis vs Houston- The Texans need a win real bad. They are coming off a 31-3 loss to the 49ers. Matt Schaub still having nightmares as he threw another pick 6 for the 4th time in 4 games & now they won’t have Owen Daniels for 4 weeks after he suffered an injury. For the Rams, they had their highest point in a win, but it was against the Jaguars. They hoping to build momentum off that. The Texans are 8.5 home faves. I like the Texans, but I’m hoping Schaub has a good game to get the Houston media & fans off his back.

Carolina vs Minnesota- The Vikings are coming off a bye week & they picked up a new quarterback in Josh freeman. However, Leslie Frazier already said that Freeman won’t start this game & still insists that Ponder’s his guy, even though Matt Cassell got them their 1st win. Ponder’s on the inside looking out. For the Panthers, tough loss in Arizona as Cam Newton couldn’t get any help from his offensive line as he was sacked 7 times.  The Vikings are a pt home fave.  I like the Vikings to win this one. Just give the ball to Adrian Peterson & get out his way.

Oakland vs Kansa City- The Raiders were ready for prime time last week. Thanks to The A’s playoff game, they had a late night start (8:30 pst) & forced 5 Chargers turnovers in their win. Terelle Pryor looked like a pro Bowler & Charles Woodson went back into memory lane in scoring a defensive td & preserving the win w/ an interception.  The Chiefs are the surprising 5-0 team & they had to come back to beat the Titans on the road. It’s an old fashion divisional game. Expect a lot of penalties in this affair. The Chiefs are 10 pt home faves. I like the Chiefs to win, but that spread is too high.

Randy:

Pittsburgh vs N.Y. Jets-  The Jets are a surprising 3-2 this yr. I think the more winning they do, Rex Ryan’s for sure keeping his job. What can you say about Geno Smith? 3 game winning drives in his rookie yr. I don’t even think Mark Sanchez  ever did that his rookie yr. Speaking of Sanchez, he went under the knife today & we know his Jets’ career is over. For the Steelers, their bye week is over & they are still looking for their 1st win. Can they get it this week. The Jets are 2.5 home faves. You already know my hatred for the Wack & Yellow, so this is the 1st time all season I’m picking the Jets to win (got you Havana girlfriend).

Randy:

Philadelphia vs Tampa Bay- The Bucaneers are coming off the bye week & they don’t Josh Freeman to dick around anymore. I hope he gets his payback on them should the Vikings & Bucs play. The Eagles are coming off a win versus the Giants, but won’t have Michael Vick behind center this game after he pulled a hammy. Nick Foles will get the start this game. If I’m Foles, look for DeSeasn Jackson early this game. Jackson bringing his Long Beach Poly swag saying that Darelle Revis aka Revis Island is too slow for him. That’s bullentin board material. The Eagles are a pt road fave. I like the Eagles to win since I hate Schiano’s guts over the Freeman situation.

Randy:

Jacksonville vs Denver- The Broncos are coming the game of the year last week as they match toe to toe & wit to wit w/ the Cowboys. They escaped w/ 51-48 win in Jerry world. Peyton Manning was Peyton Manning going for over 400 yds w/ 4 tds (1 rushing), however he threw his 1st int last week. For the Jaguars, another loss & Gabbert got hurt again, meaning Henne gets the start this week. Broncos are 26.5 home faves. The Broncos will cover this by the 2nd qtr. I like the Broncos to win this one big.

Randy:

Tennessee vs Seattle-  The Seahawks are coming off their 1st loss & the team that beat them (the Colts) aren’t a pushover.. The Titans had a chance to knock off the chiefs, but mistakes were their downfall. The Titans do miss Jake Locklear & teams are basically stacking up the line to stop Chris Johnson. The Seahawks are 14.5 home faves. I like the Seahawks & the spread.

Randy:

New Orleans  vs new England- This has Madden shootout written all over it. The Saints are still undefeated after a great performance in Chicago while the  Pats suffered their 1st loss in Cincy. The Pats will have some help this game as Rob Gronkowski aka the Gronk returns for his 1st action this yr. The Saints have a defense, but I wonder how they’ll slow down Tom Brady. Brady vs Brees. That match-up says it all. The Pats are 2.5 home faves. I like the Pats to knock the Saints  off the undefeated ranks.

Randy:

Arizona vs San Francisco-  NFC  West match-up here.  49ers on a 2 game winning streak & they dominated the  Texans last week. The running game is back & Kaepernick didn’t need to pass that much. The Cardinals defense made work of the Panthers last week w/ 7 sacks & forced 3 turnovers. Expect a low scoring game. The 49ers are 12.5 home faves. I like the 49ers, but by a touchdown.

Washington vs Dallas-  A classic rivalry gets the spotlight on Sunday night. The Cowboys will try to shake off that heartbreaking loss to the Broncos. Tony Romo was playing the game of his life, passing for 503 yds, 4 tds,. However, when it mattered most, he threw a costly pick  w/the game on the line. The Redskins are coming off the bye week, but are making news off the field as Goodell & the Boys are thinking bout changing the team name, something Daniel Snyder has said he’ll never do.  The Cowboys are 5.5 home faves,  I see the Cowboys redeeming themselves & winning this game (hope you’re happy bout this pick Letty)

Monday

Indianapolis vs San Diego-  Andrew Luck makes his Monday night debut this week. The Colts are riding high after giving the Seahawks their 1st loss, but won’t have Ahmad Bradshaw for the rest of the season after having neck surgery. That means Trent Richardson will have to be a workhorse along w/ Donald Brown for that running game. The Chargers had 5 turnovers in their loss versus the Raiders. That was their demise. This is the Chargers 2nd appearance on MNF. Last time they were on Monday Night football, they blew a lead & lost to the Texans. The Chargers are 2.5 home faves. I like the colts by a field Goal. I trust Luck in a 2 min drill to win a game before I trust Philip Rivers.

Last week, Noez brought it & the funk as well  as he was  the top dawg last week w/ a  10-4 record while yours  truly & Randy were tied w/ a 8-6 record. In the overall record for Mega 7981’s bonus, Randy’s still the guy w/ 50-27 record while yours truly in 2nd w/ 47-30 & Noez rounds it out w/ 42-35 record. Happy belated b-day soutouts to Sean Quintana aka CEO of Luxury soul & Rossana Bianchi. Happy b-day shoutouts to Jennifer & Jaclyn Reza, Antoine Boulos, Frank Benavidez, John Steele, Viviana Vigil,  Andrea Diaz, Vanessa Montes & my aunt Deborah Docks.
