“Get ready for round 2” NFL 2011 PLAYOFF PICKS

How’s it going out there in the social network world? Last week was a crazy week in the postseason as 3 of the road teams won their games. The only home team that won was Seattle, of all teams. They were the talk of the league as they upset the Champs @ home. I wonder what the divisional round would have for us. Let’s check them out shall we.

Green Baby vs Atlanta- The Packers are coming off a tough & defensive victory over the Eagles in Philly. The Packers used a balanced offense & Dmitri Starks made a name for himself. The Falcons are 4-1 in their last playoff games @ home. This will be also Matt Ryan’s 1st playoff game @ home. I wonder how he’ll handle it. Then again, Matty Ice hardly ever loses @ home. The Falcons are 5 pt favorites. I can see Atlanta winning a close game, but will go under the spread.

.Baltimore vs Pittsburgh- The two bitter rivals in the AFC north face off again, but this time, the stakes are higher. The winner gets to play in the conference game for the AFC. Each time these two teams face each other, the average margin of victory in 3 pts. They have been going back & forth w/ bulletin board material, latest was Terell Suggs saying whoever wins the game will win the Super Bowl. I hate both teams, but if I had to choose a winner, I chose the Black & Purple over the black & Yellow. The Ravens have proven they can win @ Heinz Field. Steelers are 3 pt favorites. I say the Ravens will win & will cover the points.

Seattle vs Chicago- The Bears get to hoet the Seahawks for their 1st playoff game this season. This is also Jay Cutler’s 1st ever playoff game. He has had consective 3,000 yds passing season, being the 1st Bears’ quarterback to do it since Sid Luckman. The Seahawks are coming in this battle w/ fool’s money. They weren’t expected to win last week vs the Saints & they pulled off the upset. The Bears are 10 pts favorites. I wonder how Cutler will respond to playoff pressure. I like the Bears in a close game.

N.Y. Jets vs New England- We have round 3 of the AFC east’s nastiest rivalry in the last 4 yrs. The Jets did the impossible & defeated Peyton manning @ home by a field goal. The Pats haven’t played since their regular season finale & they are still on a roll. Last time these teams faced each other, the Jets were manhandled 45-3 on Monday night. Of course, there is bullentin board material for this game. From Cromatire calling Brady An a- hole to the ongoing battle between Rex Ryan & Bill Belechik. The Pats are 8 pts fav, but I’m hoping this game will be close. I went out ona limb to pick the Jets last week. I’m doing it again this week Jets by a field goal.

That’s my time for this week. If you have any opinioins or your pwn picks, you can leave them @ neitherworldradio.wordpress.com as well as my facebook page @ facebook.com/djplaymaker10.
