Week 15 NFL preview

How’s it going my football fans? Pmeezy’s here w/ his usual breakdown of the NFL season. Last week, yours truly went 15-1 while Noez & Woodstock finished 12-4 w/ Mega 7981 @ 10-6. 2 more weeks left in the season & my fingers have lasted this long typing. Let’s get it on shall we.

Indianapolis vs Jacksonsville- The Colts continue their pursuit of perfection this week as they face their divisional rivals the Jaguars. The Colts have already clinched homefield advantage in the AFC & the question around the league is whether Indy will start resting their starters for the postseason. The Jags are still in the wild card race & got 3 teams chasing them for the final spot. If this was a game the Colts could loss, it’s this one. Jags by 3.

New Orleans vs Dallas- The Saints are also trying to finish undefeated this season while the Cowboys are still getting owned by December. They are under .500 in the month of December in the Wade Phillips era. I expect him them to fire him after the season if they don’t make the playoffs. Saints by 10

Chicago vs Baltimore- The Ravens are still fighting for their slim playoff lives as they face the Bears this week. The Bears’ season has been over since Urlacher got hurt & Cutler threw those 5 ints in his regular season Bears’ debut game. Ravens still need help to make the playoffs. However, I still think that they’ll win the game in a defensive battle. Ravens by 3

New England vs Buffalo- The Patriots are still in 1sr place in the AFC east, however it’s only ½ game behind both Miami & the Jets. The Bills are just playing the season out. The Pats also had a little distraction this week about Panthers players saying Moss was taking off plays in last week’s game. Look for Moss to get off in this game to shut the critics up. Pats by 14. I hope the Pats’ secondary can stop someone.

Arizona vs Detroit- The Cardinals are looking to smack someone in the mouth after their performance on Monday night against the Niners. 7 turnovers & Warner getting sacked 5 times won’t even cut it either. The Lions are the Lions, having another losing season. Oh well, there’s always next year for them. Cards by 10

Houston vs St. Louis- The Texans looked amazing last week against the Seahawks as they dominated them & Andre Johnson had a 1st half to remember. The Rams were just punched in the mouth by the Titans last week. Texans are looking to finish @ .500 again for the 2nd year in a row. I think they will. Houston by 10

Miami vs Tennessee- The Dolphins are also still fighting for their playoff lives as well for the AFC east title w/ The Pats & Jets. The Titans redeemed themselves from the Indy loss by whipping on the Rams. They also had a little scare that game when Vince Young pulled up lame on a 40 yd run. At least they still have Chris Johnson. I think this game will come down to which quarterback makes the least mistakes. I like the Dolphins’ chances. Miami by 3

Cleveland vs Kansas City- My Browns are looking to continue their winning ways as they travel to Kansas City to face the Chiefs. By beating the Steelers last Thursday, Mangini sort of kept his job security. However, there are rumors that Mike Holgremn is the next coach. He was interviewing for a front office position. I wouldn’t mind Holgremn as a coach because he can bring the west coast offense to Cleveland & he’s actually a Super Bowl winning coach. The Chiefs are just a mess. Browns by a touchdown. Just keep intergrating the offense w/ Cribbs & PAY THE MAN!!

Atlanta vs N.Y Jets- The Jets are still in the running for the AFC east title & wild card. However, they are facing a Falcons team who hasn’t been the same since Michael Turner & Matt Ryan got hurt. Turner says he might return this game, I don’t know about Ryan. Will the Jets have Mark Sanchez under center, I don’t but if he returns, remember to slide feet 1st. Jets by 3

San Francisco vs Philadelphia- The 49ers look to continue their momentum from Monday night this week as they face a tough test in Philadelphia. Their defense won them that game against Arizona. The Eagles on the other hand are on 2 game winning streak, plus leading the NFC east. Mcnabb & company, especially Desean Jackson put on a show in the Meadowlands Sunday night. I like the Eagles chance this week. Eagles by 3. Forgive me Theresa.

Oakland vs Denver- The Charlie Frye era starts in Denver as he was announced as the starter this week. I guess the Raiders must be fed up w/ JaMarcus Russell. The Broncos are still in the playoff race. Brandon Marshall made NFL history last week when he caught 22 passes for 200 yds & 2 tds. He awarded me 32 fantasy pts for that performance. This is a divisional rivalry game, so expect a lot of hard hitting & penalties. However, I see the Broncos winning this game even w/ Frye starting for the Raiders. Broncos by 7

Cincinnati vs San Diego- The Chargers are hot, on a 7 game winning game & have token the 2nd seed in the AFC. The face the former no.2 team the Bengals this week. The Bengals had a hard game last week vs the Vikings while the Chargers continue the December swoon for the Cowboys. I think this game will be a shootout. It’ll probably come down to the final possession. I like the Chargers’ chance since they are @ home. Chargers by 3

Green Bay vs Pittsburgh- The Steelers are looking to win a game this week after getting upset by the 1-11 Browns last week. The Packers are on a roll, winning games w/ mediocre offense & their defense stepping up. Charles Woodson is playing like he wants the defensive player of the year award(sorry Jared Allen). Ryan Grant finally had a 100 yd game also. It would be nice to see the Packers vs Vikings in the postseason. Steelers reign on top is short like leprecahns. Packers by 3. No postseason for the Steelers

Tampa Bay vs Seattle- 2 under .500 teams facing each other. Somebody has to win this game. Nothing to talk bout on these teams. I like the Seahawks by 7.

Minnesota vs Carolina- The Sunday night flexible game of the week is the Vikings traveling to Carolina to face the Panthers. The Vikings got back to their winning ways last week vs Cincy while the Panthers played a close game vs the Pats, but still lost. Only bright spot for the Panthers was that Delhomme didn’t throw any ints. He didn’t play last week. I like the Vikings by 10

N.Y. Giants vs Washington- The Giants are fighting for their postseason lives the final 3 games of the season. They were in a shootout last week vs Philly, but lost it because they were playing catch up w/ them. The Skins played a team game vs the Raiders last week. They won & introduced the world to Quinton Gaither. Giants still have chance for postseason & they are battle tested. Giants by 3

Those are my picks for this week. If you have picks on your own or feedback, reach your boy back @ neitherworldradio.wordpress.com. You can also check out the mixes as well as conversations on our lifes.
