Week 13 NFL Preview

What’s going on out there! It’s your boy Playmaker here w/ another breakdown of the NFL season. Only 5 more weeks & the Saints & Colts are still undefeated. We still have some great wild card races. Before I start, I gotta say my bro had a successful surgery. I knew he would. Have a speedy recovery lil bro.

N.Y. Jets vs Buffalo- The Jets travel to Toronto to face the Bills in a key game for them. The Jets got back to their winning ways last while the Bills pulled a woo over everyone’s one by beating the Dolphins. Jets still have wild card dreams while Buffalo’s looking to finish strong. Jets by a field goal.

Philadelphia vs Atlanta- The Eagles travel to the A to face the Falcons in a key NFC game. No Matt Ryan for them & Michael Turner hasn’t healed yet from his ankle injury. The Eagles hope that Westbrook can come back & heal from his concussion. It’s already bad enough that Desean Jackson got one last week in the win against the Redskins. Eagles by 6.

Tampa Bay vs Carolina- The Bucs & Panthers play out the season in this game. The Bucs got it worse w/ another coordinator getting fired days before last week. For the Panthers, Jake Delhomme is garbage & he’s still starting even though he’s throwing ints. I don’t know who’s worst him or Cutler. Panthers by 7.

New England vs Miami- The Pats travel to Miami to face the Dolphins in a bitter AFC east game. Both teams need to rebound from blowout losses they had last week. The Pats secondary was exposed by the Saints while the Dolphins were shocked by the Bills. Both teams are in the race for the wild card, but I can see the Dolphins pulling off the shocker. Dolphins by 10.

St. Louis vs Chicago- The Bears host the Rams in this borderline was this weekend. Chicago had playoff dreams, but they died everytime Cutler threw a pick. The Rams are just garbage. Only bright spot for that team is Steven Jackson. Bears by 14

Detroit vs Cincinnati- The Bengals get the Lions this week. The Bengals & the Colts are the hottest teams in the AFC. The Lions are the Lions & are competing w/ the Browns to be the worst team in the league & draft postioning. Bengals by 21.

Tennessee vs Indianapolis- The Titans, fresh off the come behind win versus the Cardinals, travel to Indy to face their divisional rivals the Colts. Indy had to come back from 17 pts to beat the Texans. Colts still don’t have Anthony Gonzalez, Bob Sanders, Jackson, or Hagler. They still can be touched, but they haven’t yet. This is the week they’ll get it. Titans by a Bironas field goal.

Houston vs Jacksonville- The Jags host the Texans in this AFC south battle. Jags still have playoff aspirations while the Texans are still wondering how they blew that game versus Indy. The Texans never finished over .500in their existence. I hope they do. It’ll bring creditability to their organization. However, the Jags are better than them. Jags by 7

Denver vs Kansas City- The Broncos invade Kansas City this week to face the Chiefs. I guess Brandon Marshall & Knowshon Moreno are on the same page after their melt-up couple weeks ago. The Cheifs just got slapped around by the Chargers last week. Broncos need wins to make playoffs. Broncos by 10

Oakland vs Pittsburgh- The Raiders travel to Pittsburgh to face the Steelers. The Steelers played good enough to beat the Ravens w/ Dixon as the starter, but a key turnover changed everything. The Raiders were just demolished by the Cowboys on Thanksgiving. Ben might play, but the Raiders probably lose even if Rothlesberger or Dixon starts. Steelers by 14

New Orleans vs Washington- The Saints travel to the nation’s capital this week to face the Skins. The Saints were impressive versus the Pats Monday night while the Skins gave the Eagles a run for their money. Saints are playing for history & homefield advantage in the NFC while the Skins are just trying to finish the season. Saints by 14

San Diego vs Cleveland- The Chargers travel to Cleveland to face my Browns. Chargers are on a roll while my Browns are an embarrassment in the league along w/ the Raiders & Lions. I’m just waiting for the season to end so they can fire Mangini. Chargers by 21.

Dallas vs N.Y. Giants- The Giants host the Cowboys this week. The Giants won the 1st battle in Dallas in week 2, but the Giants have struggled lately while the Cowboys are finding ways to win games. The Eagles are still on the Cowboys’ back. Giants needs wins. I see the Giants coming out victorious in this showdown. Giants by a field goal.

San Francisco vs Seattle- The 49ers take on the Seahwawks in a NFC west battle. The Niners dominated the Jags last week while the Seahawks were serving the Rams. Niners still have playoff aspirations as well as finishing over .500. Vernon Davis is playing like a pro bowler while Crabtree is playing like a beast. 49ers by 10. Shoutouts to Ben, Theresa, Marco, & Joseph.

Minnesota vs Arizona- The Vikings travel to Arizona to face the Cardinals in this Sunday night affair. Favre is having a MVP season. It helps that Adrian Peterson is the running back on that team. The Cardinals on the other hand, are wondering why Matt Leinart got hosed again by Vince Young on a game winning drive. If Warner plays, it’ll be a classic. Favre vs Warner. Vikngs are better. Vikings by 3

Baltimore vs Green Bay- The Packers host the Ravens in this Monday night affair. The Ravens had to go into overtime to defeated the Steelers while the Packers demolished the Lions on Thanksgiving. Both teams have good young quarterbacks in Rodgers & Flaco. However I can see it as a defensive battle. Charles Woodson is playing like he wants the defensive player of the year award. Baltimore still has Lewis & Reed whenever he doesn’t lateral the ball. However, the Packers are @ home. Packers by 3

That’s my picks for this week. Any feedbacks, info, or shoutouts, go to neitherworldradio.wordpress.com. Also, check out the mixes of yours truly, mega 7981 & our special guest dj d-side.
