NFL Week #11 PICKS

What up internet land!

It’s your boy P-Meezy back w/ his picks for the week. Before I start, I would like to give a get well shout-out to my bro Terrance. Last week, I don’t know if it was the after effects of Friday the 13th, but I had a not so good record of 6-9. A lot of upsets happened last week & the best game of the week ended w/ a controversy about play-calling in certain situations. Let’s break this week

Thursday

Miami vs Carolina- The Dolphins go into Carolina in a must win situation to keep their slim playoff hopes alive. They will have to go the rest of the season w/out Ronnie Brown, who’s out for the year w/ a knee injury. The Panthers still have playoff hopes, however they will have to use Slash & Dash a lot because they don’t know which Jake Delhomme they’ll get. The time manager or the turnover prone quarterback. For the Dolphins, expect a lot of Pat White as he will run the wildcat formation for the Dolphins. Dolphins by 7

Sunday

Pittsburgh vs Kansas City- The Steelers will look to pop someone in the mouth this week as they travel to Kansas City to face the Chiefs in this AFC matchup. The Steelers are coming off a tough loss to Bengals, who won the head to head series like they did w/ the Ravens, and they now own tiebreakers over both the Steelers & Ravens in the division. The Chiefs picked up their 2nd win as they won an ugly one in Oakland. Jamal Charles made a name for himself as he ran over 100 yds in his 1st start after they cut Larry Johnson. Don’t expect too much from K.C. this week. Steelers by 21

New Orleans vs Tampa Bay- The Saints travel to the Sombrero to face the Bucaneers in this divisional battle. The Saints had trouble beating the Rams last week while the Bucaneers gave the Dolphins a run for their trouble, only to lose in the final seconds. This is a divisional battle, so expect the Bucs to come at them hard. However, too many weapons for the Saints. Saints by 14

Atlanta vs N.Y Giants- The Giants return from their bye week & they are in desperate need for a win as they face the Falcons in this match-up. The Falcons lost the game in Carolina last week & in the process, Michael Turner suffered an ankle injury in the same game. They were already thin in the receiving corps & now that had to happened. The Giants need wins because the Cowboys & Eagles are ahead of them in the division & they have the 49ers breathing down their necks in the wild card race. Expect another meltdown from the Giants. Falcons by 3

Buffalo vs Jacksonville- The Dick Jauronless Bills head to Jacksonville, who still have hopes for the postseason. The Jags had to come from behind & beat the Jets by a field goal. It could had been a touchdown, but Maurice Jones Drew took a knee at the 1 w/ 1:45 in the game on their game winning drive. They just ran the clock, perfect strategy so the Jets could get possession w/ time left on the clock. The Bills just fired Jauron & just open the season ends real quick for them because the T.O is just ain’t cutting it. Jags by 10

Indianapolis vs Baltimore- The Colts survived a threat from the Pats(pretty much Belichik’s stupidity cost them) last week while the Ravens had am ugly shutout win against my Browns, however, at an ugly cost when Terrell Suggs left the game when Brady Quinn hit him w/ a low blow(which he was fined by the way). This should be a low scoring defensive battle in the teens. However, the Ravens weakness this year is giving up big plays over 27 yds & Peyton Manning is the quarterback they’re facing. However, I’m smelling an upset here & the Ravens are at home. Ravens by a field goal

Seattle vs Minnesota- The Vikings host the Seahawks in this NFC match-up. Nothing much to say here. The Vikings are on a roll & the Seahawks are a mess. Vikings by 14

Cleveland vs Detroit- Another toilet bowl here as two teams are desperate for a win. The Browns not only loss the game Monday night, but almost lost their best player Joshua Cribbs on the final play of the game. Why was he still in the game when the outcome was decided Mangenni? C’mon son for that one. The Lions have potential on that team, but they are still the Lions & someone has to win this game. Browns by 3

Washington vs Dallas- The Redskins gave Jim Zorn a little something to cheer about last week as they upset the Broncos, however they have to go to Arlington to face their bitter divisional rivals the Cowboys. The Cowboys are looking to redeem themselves after embarrassing themselves in Green Bay in which Charles Woodson was a 1 man defensive highlight film against them. Bitter rivals= a lot of fights. However Snyder owns these Redskins & they don’t mean jack. Cowboys by 14

San Francisco vs Green Bay- The 49ers are riding high after an emotional win last week vs the Bears. Now they have to travel to Lambeau Field to face a Packers teams, who surprised people last week by upsetting Dallas. The Packers are a young team, but they make’ll Aaron Rodgers if he keeps taking those shots if the line can’t protect him. Expect a lot of Patrick Willis in his face all game. 49ers by a touchdown, Alex Smith vs Aaron Rodgers also 1st time head to head I think in their pro career.

Arizona vs St Louis- The Cardinals take their winning ways to St. Louis to face the Rams in this divisional matchup. Beanie Wells lead the Cards in that comeback win vs the Seahawks while the Rams gave the Saints some run for a good while, but came out the losers again. Steven Jackson is the only bright spot on that Rams team. Caardinals are flying high & they will still after this week. Cards by 17

N.Y. Jets vs New Engalnd- The Pats get to take their frustrations out on the field this week as they host their bitter divisional rival the Jets. Belechik’s going for it on 4th & 2 play was generating controversy for him in the media. My opinion on that play, I think he should had punted. He didn’t trust his defense in that situation. The Jets on the other hand, had victory snatch right out of their hands last week by the Jags. I’m sorry Sanchez, you’re bout to get popped in the mouth a lot & hard this week. Pats by 30. What would the handshake be like after the game?

Cincinnati vs Oakland- The talk of the AFC goes to Oakland to face a Raiders w/ a lot of questions to ask themselves. At least they solved the quarterback situation as they decide to start Gradowski this week & bench the imcompitent JaMarcus Russell. The Beangals defense are riding after holding the super bowl champs to 12 pts last week in their house. The offense got help to replace the injured Cedric Benson by signing Larry Johnson, who was released by the Chiefs. I’m sorry Mega, but your Raiders are gonna to kiss da baby. Bengals by 17

San Diegon vs Denver- Who thought the Chargers would be tied for 1st place in the AFC west w/ Denver as they meet for the rematch this week in Denver. I remember the Broncos started off @ 6-0, now they lost their swag & momentum. The Chargers are on the right cylinders & this is a common trait for the Chargers the last couple of years. They start slow, bur finish fast. Chargers by 7

Philadelphia vs Chicago- The Eagles have questions to ask themselves after losing in San Diego. At least they know they won’t have Westbrook in this game either. The Bears are just wondering why Jay”screw your fantasy owner stats” Cutler can’t capitalize in the clutch. He threw 5 ints, two in the red zone. He’s thrown 9 ints in the red zone in the last 2 years and the Bears traded Orton for him. At least Orton has a better record than Jay & may see the postseaon. McNabb’s from Chi-town. So expect him to put on a show. Eagles by 7

Monday Night

Tennessee vs Houston-The Titans are 3-0 since Vince Young’s been starting & Chris Johnson has balling out of his mind. However, they have to come to H-town, who has a winning record & can taste the postseason for the 1st time in their franchise history. However, they have no Owen Daniels, so expect a lot of double teams on Andre Johnson. The game’s also in Houston, so expect Young delight his college home state crowd. Titans are on a roll, even w/out Lendale “No Tequilla” Whte. I swear, he must be on a milkcrate w/ T.O because they haven’t put up stats this year worth recognizing. Titans by 3.
