NFL Week 9 preview
by: Dj Playmaker

What’s shaking America! It’s your boy P Meezy back in effect. I’m in a great mood because I’m in an “Empire State of Mind” (thanks to Jigga & Alicia Keys for that). Congrats to the Yankees for title #27 & A-Rod finally shutting his critics up & winning a ring, plus coming thru in the postseason w/ a .356 average w/ 6 hrs & 18 rbis! If you’re in the N.Y area, enjoy & have a safe parade. With that, let’s break down the NFL games this week.

Washington vs Atlanta- The Redskins are coming a bye week & they need help. It was nice to see Daniel Snyder address some fans & apologizing for the team’s failures. The Falcons are coming off a double digit loss to the Saints in which they played hard, but turnovers hurt them. I take the Falcons because the Skins are a mess, plus Michael Turner will run roughshot over the Skins. Falcons by 14

Arizona vs Chicago- What the hell happened to Kurt Warner last week? It was a role reversal for him & Jake Delhomme looked like a great quarterback. In the playoffs, Delhomme had 5 ints. Last week, Warner had 4 ints. The Bears are coming off a 24 pt win against my sorry ass Browns. It will come to defense & which qb will come back & not make any mistakes. Bears by 7.

Baltimore vs Cincinnati- The Bengals are fresh off their bye week & get a rematch against their bitter divisonal rivals the Ravens. I can’t wait to see if Ocho Cinco goes up in the middle & collide w/ Ray Lewis again. The Ravens handed the Broncos their 1st loss last week. Ray Rice & Joe Flaco put up great fantasy numbers every week. I should have because I have them on my fantasy team. However, you could never count the Bengals out. I see Ocho Cinco kissing da baby @ homes. Ravens by 3.

Houston vs Indianaplolis- The Texans are a surprising 5-3 team and are finding many ways to win games. The Colts are the Colts & along w/ the Saints are still undefeated. Last week however, the Colts had a challenge from the 49ers & came off w/ a 4 pt win. I see the Colts having another scare this week. Colts by 3

Kansas City vs Jacksonville- The Jags are coming off an embarassing loss to the Titans. In that game, Chris Johnson ran shots on them as he had another 200 yd game & it was their 1st win of the season. The Chiefs are coming off a bye week & Larry Johnson working to appeal his suspension over some remarks on Twitter. Yo L.J., shut the hell & play ball. You’re done after this year. Jags by 10.

Miami vs New England- The Dolphins are coming off sweeping the head to head matchup w/ the Jets, which could be big if it comes down to a tiebreaker. The Pats had the bye week, so they should be ready. However, I sense a upset brewing. The wildcat formmation is hard to stop & remember: The wilcat was debuted the 1st time they played the Pats. Dolphins by 7

Green Bay vs Tampa Bay- The Packers are coming off losing to Brett Favre again, but this time @ Lambeau. Aaron Rodgers had another game, but was once again pressured again by Jared Allen & the Vikings defense by getting sacked 5 times, 3 of them by Allen. The Bucs are coming off a bye & still winless. It’s so bad that they are starting Josh Freeman, hoping they could get some wins & look to the future. The Bucs won’t win a game for a long while. It’s 1976 all over again for them. Packers by 14.

Carolina vs New Orleans- The Saints looked impressive Monday night against the Falcons. Brees playing like a MVP candidate, while Bush is working to get his rookie year swag back in his 3rd year. The Panthers just outplayed the Cardinals last week, getting revenge for the playoff loss last year. Like I said last week, you don’t know what Panthers team you get. I see the Saints winning @ home. Saints by 10.

Detroit vs Seattle- The Lions can’t wait to get on the field this Sunday after losing to the Rams, handling them their 1st win. The Seahawks just got popped in the mouth by the Cowboys. Both teams are a combined 3-11 record. So somebody has to win this game. I hope Calvin Johnson returns this week. I’m going on a limb on this one. Lions by 7

San Diego vs N.Y Giants- Uh oh, I think the Giants are losing their swagger. They started 5-0, but now they have a 3 game losing streak, the Eagles exposing them like the Saints for their 1st loss. The Chargers are firing on cylinders after a 2 game winning streak. This is a must game for the Giants. Giants @ home by 7.

Tennessee vs San Francisco- The Titans can finally breath after getting their 1st win last week. In that game, Chris Johnson had another 200 yd game & Vince Young started & looked impressive in his performance. The Niners had their heart token from them by the Colts last week. They played hard enough to win, but didn’t get their result they wanted. I say the Niners will win this game by a close 3 pts(shoutouts to Marco, Theresa, & Joesph).

Dallas vs Philadelphia- The battle for the NFC East pops off in the Sunday Night game on NBC. The Eagles are flying high after a dominating performance against the Giants. They were on all cylinders, can’t wait to see if it continues w/ Westbrook back in the fold. The Cowboys are on a roll also, but controversy is hitting them as Roy Williams is doing his best T.O. impression, complaing about not getting the ball. Yo Roy, like I told L.J., shut up & play ball. Eagles by a touchdown.

Monday Night

Pittsbught vs Denver- The Steelers are coming off a bye week & are licking their chops for their opponents, who are coming off their 1st loss against the Ravens. If Kyle Orton thinks he got rocked by the Ravens, just wait til he gets introduce by the Steelers defense. The Steelers needs these games to keep up w/ the Ravens & Bengals. Steelers by 3.

I hope you like these pics. If you want to leave your pics or opinions, you can leave them on You can also check the mixes by yours truly & mega7981
